jTBtar

Introduction

jTBtar is a simple, user-friendly and multi-platform application to pack/unpack atlases and maps into tar format for the TrekBuddy GPS navigation software.

Requirements

jTBtar was developed on Java 6. You can download JRE from Sun's website . It might work under JRE 1.5 but I didn't test it. Tar executable is not required.

How to use

Simply extract the distribution archive into a folder and double-click on jtbtar.jar . If you prefer the command line, type:

java -jar jtbtar.jar

• 1.1.2 Now jTBtar is able to unpack atlases created by Mobile Atlas Creator (they lack directory entries in the tar files).
